Not
just making films, but films that make a difference.
Who
We Are...
Billy
Badalato, Producer, Founder-Xtreme Logistics

Billy Badalato, a dual citizen of the United States and Italy, has
been working in the film and entertainment industry for over 20 years.
His wide range of experiences included working for the late producer
Don Simpson on "Top Gun" in 1986, managing a grip and electric
rental house and later as an accomplished location manager, production
supervisor and as an aerial, marine and underwater supervisor on films
including; Planet of the Apes, Broken Arrow, Men of Honor, About Schmidt,
Alien Resurrection, Double Jeopardy and Benny and Joon. He has been
fortunate enough to have worked with some of the most talented directors
in the motion picture industry; Tim Burton, Alexander Payne, Gore
Verbinski, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Jon Woo, Jim Abrahams and Dianne Keaton.
Badalato’s
earlier experiences along with his later work culminated in him being
offered the position of UPM/Line Producer on Walden Media’s
$115 million international feature film, “Around the World in
80 Days.” Managing a multinational, multilingual, multi-union
crew in five different countries was a challenge that Badalato met
with enthusiasm and accomplished with aplomb. For Badalato, the job
of producing is one of being creative, dealing with the film's logistics,
hiring the crew, managing the money and schedule, dealing with post-production
schedules and distribution, and directly interfacing on a daily basis
with the studio and its production executives, legal department, and
finance executives. Badalato also is the founder of Xtreme Logistics,
which provides global film production support and consulting to independent
film makers, motion picture bond companies and major Hollywood studios
including; Paramount, Beacon Pictures, 20th Century Fox and New Line
Cinema and has consulted on such films as Titanic and Pirates of the
Caribbean. During the spring of 2005 Badalato and Xtreme Logistics
teamed up with Marlon Jones and Set Apart Pictures to produce a series
of regional commercials for In His Presence Church which is being
aired on the Time Warner and Cox cable networks.
Most
recently Badalato has returned from Asia filming 20th Century Fox’s
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer which is scheduled for release
in the summer of 2007.

James
Beatty
I've
been interested in camera's since High School. I picked up the video
camera right away at Principia College, Elsah, Illinois, where I was
awarded the Broadcast Journalism Award upon my graduation in 1997.
I spent the next two years working for KSDK NewsChannel 5 as a production
assistant and then a Floor Director/Field News Gatherer. Going to
local breaking news hot spots on a regular basis showed a side of
life that was very depressing.
I needed to tell my own stories that offered hope and inspiration
rather than depressing events we call local news. So I applied to
film schools and was awarded the Talent Scholarship Award from Chapman
University School of Film and Television, Orange, California. I graduated
from Chapman with my MFA in Film Production and a thesis film that
won the "Filmmaker with Reel Heart Award," from the ReelHeart
Film Festival, Toronto, ON Canada.
Over the last three years I've been working in the film production
business as a Director of Photography, Camera Assistant, Electric
and Grip. My passion for story telling covers all the aspects of production
as I've currently submersed myself into an amazing adventure documentary
of my own called: "Road Less Traveled." You can find out
all about that at: www.roadlesstraveledmovie.com but that's a story
for another time...
